The Idea
Tattva is the Sanskrit word for essence, the true nature of a thing once every unnecessary layer is stripped away. Tattva Living began inside The Decora's Surat showroom with a simple question. What happens when furniture stops performing for a photograph and starts being useful for a family? Every piece begins as solid sheesham, teak or oak, is joined the honest way, finished by hand and built to sit quietly and usefully in a home for decades.

Tattva is the Sanskrit word for essence. It is The Decora's own furniture house, born inside the Surat showroom, and it makes solid wood pieces meant to be inherited rather than replaced in a decade.
Solid sheesham, teak and oak, joined the honest way and finished by hand. No particle board anywhere in the frame, and no veneer laid over board and sold to you as timber.
Any piece can be resized to your room, your fabric and your finish. If your dining room is narrow, the table is made narrow. That is simply the ordinary way we work here, not a special favour.
The two houses Tattva carries. StudioWorks is the teakwood range on the fourth floor of The Decora, Ritz Lane is the outdoor range on the fifth. Everything photographed here also stands, in the flesh, on one of those two floors.
Delivered, assembled and placed by our own team across Surat. We will also visit, measure and lay the room out on paper before you buy, so you know exactly what fits before a single piece is made.
Because the same piece changes price with wood, size and finish, and almost nothing leaves this floor unaltered. Send us the piece and the room it is going into, and the quote we write is for what you actually want, not a starting figure.
